At present, roughly 40% of raw materials used in the world's crude steel production come from recycled steel scrap. China's recycling rate of steel scrap is still lower than the global average, and its construction of the steel scrap processing and distribution system needs further improvement. Thus, it is still necessary to continue to innovate for transformation and upgrading and establish the concept of the integrated development of the steel scrap utilization industry, to realize the integrated whole-process operations of steel scrap recovery, dis-assembly, processing, distribution, and utilization as soon as possible.

The construction period of the project is 2 years. After the project reaches the design capacity, its annual income is expected to be USD 8 million. The payback period is 3-5 years.
