I. Project Content and Scale:

The project will build a 70,000-ton container berth (hydraulic engineering designed according to the 100,000-ton berthing) and a 100,000-ton container berth, three trestles, and corresponding supporting facilities. The designed throughput is 1 million TEUs, and the shoreline will extend 746 meters.

II. Investment Estimation and Sources of Funds:

The total investment of the project is up to USD 40 million, including USD 160 million of foreign investment.

III. Market Analysis:

The total annual container trade volume of the enterprises surveyed in Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone and central and southern Hebei is about 1.16 million TEUs, and the main products are hardware products, strollers, children's toys, chemical products, and agricultural and sideline products. The annual container trade volume of the above-mentioned regions is expected to reach about 2 million TEUs by 2025 according to the proportion of the visiting enterprises to enterprises producing containers and the total import and export volume of the region. The project will be equipped with the loading and unloading capacity of hazardous chemicals containers, and LNG tank containers will be directly handled by vehicles and vessels.

IV. Economic Benefit Analysis

The project will be constructed within two years and expects an average annual profit of USD 11 million.

V. Construction Conditions

The project is located at the eastern end of the northern shoreline of the Comprehensive Cargo Port Area, Port of Huanghua. The constructed north breakwater and sand breakwater have formed benign cover conditions for the project, the wave has little influence on the wharf, the tidal current and wave dynamic conditions are generally weak, and the siltation in the port is relatively little. By analyzing engineering geological survey data, it can be found that the stratigraphic distribution in the project site is uniform, which makes the region suitable for a high-piled beam-slab structure. Generally speaking, the port enjoys good natural conditions.
